A Day in ISS
A DAY IN ISS A day in Iss is a depressing lonely day that seems like it will never end. Iss is short for In School Suspension. I know about becase i was in it. I had to go for too many tardies. Well it was a friday and i was in 1st period english when Mr. L walked in and said " Tb come with me, you will need your stuff." When i go into the hall way he shows me this paper that showed all of my tardies. I had alot of them. Most in 5th period math, but the same amount in computer apps. The two in yearbook, and one for Mr. T's homeroom. He said one more tardie and i would have a week of Iss. I didnt think that was that bad. I mean how hard could getting out of all my classes too just sit and be lazy be. Well i was about to find out. When we got down with Mrs. R I saw something that would make this day a whole lot worse. SG. After the first period i was losing my mind. But then ES came down so it got a little better. When 3rd period started there was a class coming so we had to go to the band room. We stayed there for a while and that was the best becasue mrs. R had to help SG with reading so she left me and ES all alone. After like 20 minutes we went to the library. We stayed there until lunch. That was pretty nice getting to socialize with people. When that ended the worst part of the day came. The second half was horrible. it was boring, lonely and really lasted for ever. I was so bored i read some of Romeo and Juliet that was awful, i started to think that there was something wrong with my reading because it seemed like every other word was missing. It was finally the end of the day and i was very, very, happy. Its been two days since that tragic experiance. I havent been tardie since adn i plan on not beeing tardy for a long time. Now im going to tell why i think that iss is pointless. They put you down in a room in school, all day, but they dont let you got get your homework for that day. So let alone possible depression you also get behind in all of your classes. Well thats all im going to say about that awful experiance. Hope you liked it. Bye.

A Day In SHS!
A day in a Student that attends Superior High School's life is hectic. Monday alot of people dont want to be at school, usally because their tired and know they still have the rest of the week to go. The breaks are hectic also, even though there is only around 120 kids in the whole school. The halls are so small, busy, and full. People are always running into other people, by lunch it isnt as hectic but still hectic. People are are so ready to get away from the school they rush to the cafeteria, and their cars. Alot of the kids that go to the cafeteria say the food is nasty but they continue the food. Some people just bring a pack lunch and eat at the school. There is this one cool senior W.S who eats in the gym almost everyday. After lunch the rest of the day isnt as hectic. Alot of people calm down and wait for the day to end. 7th Period is usally the calmest. Most everyone is happy for the school day to be over.

Lunch
A bell rings animals bolt from their gate and race to the finish line. Sounds like a horse race but it's really lunch hour. The only difference is the horses are kids, and the finish line is the lunch line. Instead of just going to the lunch room in the building like in other schools. Students have to sprint uphill to the elementary school for lunch. If you stop just to take a leak your going to endure half and hour wait in the lunch line that continues outside the door of the building. The food is usually heated up frozen food, like chicken strips and fries. occasionally its home made, like the Navajo Taco. When you get into the puny lunch room with the big painting of people running around with grossly over sized food, students can finally sit down eat some food, talk about how boring the day is and just relax.
Freshman Float Building
It was Friday morning of homecoming week. The freshman class gathered into the shop. All you could hear was questions asked repeatedly. "What going on?" "What are we doing?" "What do we do?"
Being the lowest on the totem pole, they had no idea what to do that hectic morning. After observing for about an hour Mrs. W started giving orders. After realizing most of the freshman didn't even no what the theme their own theme was, she listened to D.H., C.E., A.S., Y.L., K.C., and K.P. advised them to start the signs for the float. The signs said "Rock The Devils" and "Class Of 2011" as well as our freshman royalty signs.
After lunch and games in the afternoon, the time came to display the work. With blank stares and questioning eyebrows our mix of signs was unsuccessful at portraying our theme. Some made sense while others were from another planet.
As the float went down River Street there were laughs, cheers, and an experience the freshman class had together including our mirror accident

8th Grade Trip To Helena
Well our 8th grade Helena trip was a blast. We went to The Gates of The Mountains and went on a hike. And on the way to our hike our CIRT student that went with us, he was telling all the girls jokes that made us laugh until we would cry and laugh hysterically. After the hike we all went to the store to get something to eat. Everybody bought junk food. On our way back to the barracks everybody was bouncing off the walls, because most of them bought energy drinks. When we got to the barracks the girls went to their barracks and the guys went to theirs. All of us girls were so hipper that we were up the whole night telling scary stories and eating junk food. Until one girl through a fit telling us to go to bed. So we all went to bed. Then an hour later that girl woke us up, taking pictures of us in our sleep. She was all hipper on a energy drink. Most of us only got three or less hours of sleep. We all woke up the next morning ate our breakfast and went on the the rest of our trip. On the way home our CIRT was telling us jokes that we will never forget. He told us blond jokes and had to explain them to me. He got a kick out of that. We also got special nicknames that we will never forget. AND that was our trip to Helena.
A year later we saw our CIRT and he will never forget the great times that he had with our class especially us girls!

Homecoming 2007
It was the year 2007. The days were becoming longer and the weather was becoming colder. Everybody in Superior High was getting pumped up for Homecoming. The games, the barbeque, the dance, the volleyball game, the football game, powder puff football, and the dress-up days were all planned then finally Monday came, crazy hair day. There were a lot of Crazy Hair dues that day, but only one could win. J.L. ended up winning for crazy hair day. Her hair was really, I mean really puffy. Then that following night there was Powder puff football. O.K., let me elaborate on powder puff a little bit. It's when you take a bunch of high school girls on a field with a football. Not a pretty picture, uh? Well, what do you think of putting high school girls on a field with a football? It was dangerous that evening. There were 2 teams, the Pink and the black. The Pink team won. With 1 touchdown. Then Tuesday came. It was 80's day. It was where the boys wore tight pants and the girls wore bright eyeshadow. Then later on that evening there was a Bonn Fire. It's the Bonn fire Superior has every year. There were grass fights, games of duck and goose, throw down, and plenty of people were there. On went the week, Wednesday was Celeb Day, K.C. dressed as Beach Barbie. She was in a Blondie wig, shorts and a shirt with a bikini painted on it, but K.C. did not win. Mr. C. ended up winning, he was dressed up as Mr.T. Well, another comment on Celeb Day, out of all the Paris Hilton's for the day Cathryn had the best costume. Thursday got here and it was Snowboard/EM day and it happened to be the one of the sunniest days of the week. W.S. kept his winter gear on all day, proving deserved the award for that day. Then finally Friday got here and it was SPIRIT DAY! Funny day of the whole week. Everybody was waiting for this. It's when all the events were going on. The games, baroque, floats, and everything. For homecoming candidates for the freshman class it happen to be K.C. and K.Z., for Sophomores D.S and D., for the juniors J.L. and T.S., for the seniors W.S. and J.S, and finally for the pep club Cathryn and B.S. Happily the homecoming king and queen ended up being the two seniors. It was a pretty touching moment and a surprise who was going to get it. All together Homecoming 2007 has left us with memories that will be cherished by forever!

The 2006-2007 Yearbook
The yearbook staff has been reviewing last year's yearbook and has been documenting the mistakes in hopes of not repeating them this year. Among a few mispellings, we have found a pretty significant mistake. One of the senior football pages was not printed. The printers have been notified and we are working on a solution. Thank you for your patience!
